The book is a collection of newly written chapters by various specialists from different disciplines (with a background in philosophy) on the subject of free will as it is discussed in their (inter)disciplinary field. The book also contains an introduction to the philosophical discussion on the topic, analytic and continental. With this volume she hopes to introduce some philosophical sophistication to the public debate in the Netherlands, a debate that is dominated by brain scientists and social psychologists.
