Introduction

In this laboratory neurobiological and cognitive mechanisms of behavioural problems in children and adolescents are investigated. The facilities are suited to accommodate the special needs of children with developmental disorders, such as quiet rooms and clinically trained staff.

The laboratory is equipped with one-way screens and a digital video observation system for measuring parent-child interactions. Also, facilities for salivary hormone measurements are available.

We have several ‘portable labs’ which are used in the lab 1.B28, as well as for collection of data outside university campus.

  • Several Tobii eye trackers and Biopac (heart rate/skin conductance) systems
  • VU-AMS system

Lab users have to be acquainted with lab protocols and technology.
