The NVIC offers academic courses in Arabic & Islamic studies and in the study of Ancient Egypt, in the framework of study programmes at the Dutch and Flemish universities that support the institute. NVIC also puts its teaching experience at the disposal of companies, embassies, international organisations and individuals.
Academic courses
The NVIC offers academic courses in Arabic & Islamic Studies, Middle East Studies and in the study of Ancient Egypt, in the framework of study programmes at the Dutch and Flemish universities that support the institute. The focus of our study programmes lies on acquiring practical knowledge and academic experience in Egypt, which thus adds a significant alternative dimension to what students have learned at their home universities.
In addition, the NVIC assists in the supervision of theses, papers and other kinds of individual study programmes undertaken in Egypt, and can organise courses in a number of different fields on demand.
Courses for the general public
Throughout the year, NVIC offers courses that are open to the general public, such as Dutch courses as well as our yearly "Introduction to Ancient Egypt" course.
Private courses
NVIC also puts its teaching experience at the disposal of companies, embassies, international organisations and individuals. We are experienced in making customised study programmes based on the level of proficiency required. And all this at competitive prices.
