Martina Vijver reappointed as Scientific Director
Martina Vijver has been reappointed as Scientific Director of the Centre for Environmental Sciences Leiden. Vijver has been Director of CML since 2022 and her term has now been extended until 1 September 2030.
Vijver is pleased that she will be able to continue for another four years. She has an important goal in mind: to further strengthen the CML and successfully guide it through the upcoming institutional review. And that is not all. ‘I want to give staff the opportunity to take the next broad steps in their careers and to further expand our scientific impact,’ Vijver says. ‘Ensuring a steady intake of students also has my full attention.’
