Vasiliki Kosta speaks at the inaugural conference of the Luxembourg Centre for European Law

The newly established Luxembourg Centre for European Law held its inaugural conference on 10-11 October 2025, exploring the theme of 'European Union law and values in a changing world'.

Kosta spoke on the topic ‘Academic Freedom in EU Law – the importance of the values underlying it’ on the panel ‘Values, principles and rights’. Other speakers on this panel inluded Eleftheria Neframi (Professor of European Law, Faculty of Law, Economic and Finance, University of Luxembourg), Elise Muir (Vice Dean for Research, Head of the Institute for European Law of the KU Leuven), Joana Mendes (Professor in European Public Law, Luxembourg Centre for European Law, University of Luxembourg), and Takis Tridimas (Professor of Law and Founding Director of the Luxembourg Centre for European Law, University of Luxembourg).
