Fifth edition of LEAP launched

After a semester of brainstorming, writing, rewriting and editing, the time has come: the fifth edition of Leiden Elective Academic Periodical (LEAP) has been launched!

This peer-reviewed graduate journal was founded in 2021 by associate professors Astrid van Weyenberg and Nanne Timmer (LUCAS) as part of an interdisciplinary master's course at the Faculty of Humanities. Every year, LEAP gets a new editorial team as well as a new theme. This year, the editors explored the theme of  ‘Movement’. What does movement mean? How does it relate to space, ideas and action? The editors were assisted by Nicolas Turner.

This year's editors consisted of 14 (R)MA students: Milla Piitulainen, Giorgio Sebastiani, Bart van Dieën, Steven Hoekstra, Sonya Condro Lukitosari, Theocharis Tzimas, Myrthe den Boestert, Dana Bouwknegt, Berber Kommerij, Beatrice Scali, Isa van Schaick, Christopher Schweitzer, and Inge Versteeg. They proudly present their articles in a collection that explores movement in all its forms. Curious? See: LEAP - Leiden Elective Academic Periodical.
