The Society of Economic Anthropology (SEA) of the American Anthropology Association publishes Economic Anthropology, Research in Economic Anthropology and the SEA Monograph Series. It hosts two annual meetings per year, runs the podcast series Mergers and Acquisitions, and has several awards to support and recognise research in economic anthropology.

The NIAS-Lorentz Program stimulates promising new research paths, creative thinking, and international and intergenerational collaboration. It brings scholars and perspectives together from humanities and social sciences with natural and technology studies.
