Melanie Fink appointed member of the Meijers Committee

Melanie joined the Committee in October 2020 and as of 2021 will also form part of its Rule of Law Project, chairing the project’s sub-group on EU Agencies.

The Meijers Committee is a standing body of experts on European migration, refugee, and criminal law and composed of law professors, researchers, judges, and attorneys. It advises politicians, policy makers, and the broader public on the impact of European legislative proposals in the field of justice, migration, and security on human rights and the rule of law.
Through its work, the Meijers Committee has made a significant contribution to the constitutional quality of European legislation thanks to its early responses and the contacts it maintains with European legislative assemblies.
