Kick-off International BSc Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology: A Photo Report

The bachelor's programme in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology goes international! From September 2019, the entire programme can be followed in English and will be accessible for students from all over the world. On 14 February 2019, the Institute of Cultural Anthropology held an inspiring kick-off day with staff and students to discuss the progress of the transition and some corresponding challenges.

Jan Jansen, Director of Studies at the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology, kicked-off by informing everybody about the current state of affairs.
The student panel consisted of the Student Ambassor and representatives of the Educational Board, as well as the Study Association.
Esther van de Camp, PhD student, participated in the session 'English' to brainstorm on possible language hick-ups.
Study Coordinator Nina Osterhaus-Simic (third from left) chaired the session on 'organisational matters'.
Philomeen Dol (ATC) and Daan Romein (ICLON) were invited to present on language matters and international classroom challenges.
