Kristel van Kruisbergen presented at the EUSA event ‘The Rule of Law: the situation in Poland and Hungary’
On 7th November 2018 Kristel van Kruisbergen was guest speaker for an event organised by the European Union Student Association (EUSA) on ‘The Rule of Law: the situation in Poland and Hungary’.
The presentation focused on the interplay between the principle of mutual trust and the respect for the rule of law in the EU: the topic of her PhD research. The discussion focused in particular on the situation of the rule of law in Poland and Hungary, and the effectiveness of the actions of the EU institutions against those Member States.
