Joachim Koops new scientific director of ISGA
The Institute of Security and Global Affairs (ISGA) has a new scientific director as of 14 January 2019: Joachim Koops. At the same time, Koops will be appointed as professor of Security.
Currently, Koops is dean of the Versalius College of the Free University Bruxelles and director of the Belgian think tank Global Governance Institute (GGI). Previously, he studied at Oxford (UK), de University of Turku (Finland) and the University of Kiel (Germany). Since then, he gave advice international organizations about security and governance issues.
