Students raise €884 for UAF with NSE survey
This year, 35.36% of Faculty of Humanities students voiced their opinion of their study programme in the Nationale Studenten Enquête (National Student Survey, NSE). The Faculty had promised to donate €25 for every 1% of completed surveys to UAF, which means that the Faculty will transfer a total of €884 to the association for student refugees.
An enthusiastic response
“Fantastic! Thank you so much for this great contribution,” said UAF Fund Raising Team Leader Wendy Heezen about the action. “Thanks to this contribution we can support even more refugee students in their studies and in finding a suitable job.”
National Student Survey
The National Student Survey (Nationale Studenten Enquête , NSE) is a large-scale annual national survey in which university students are invited to give their opinion of their study programme. The student assessments are published on Studiekeuze123.nl.
UAF supports highly educated refugees in completing their studies in the Netherlands or looking for job to match their abilities. Leiden University is also home to some refugee students, such as Siham, student in International Studies in The Hague. She shares her story on the UAF website.
