LUCAS launches blog
On Wednesday March 23rd, the official LUCAS-blog kick-off took place. On the blog, LUCAS-affiliated PhDs share interesting findings from their research and other relevant news.
The idea of the blog is to bring together the different research subjects within the institute. Non-LUCAS researchers are also encouraed to write blog posts about research that fits the themes of LUCAS.
“It's a kind of voyage through LUCAS,” says Sophia Hendrikx, one of the initiators and contributing PhDs. “On the blog, you can really see what keeps us busy, and we can easily show our research to others. The blog is primarily meant as a platform to present our research to both the academic and the non-academic world.”
The blog is not just meant for LUCAS members. Everyone with an interest in language, literature, arts or culture can contribute. Anything that relates to your own research and fits within LUCAS is welcome. Curious? Check out the Leiden Arts in Society Blog. Those wanting to contribute, meet with the bloggers, or join the mailing list can contact the PhD council of the institute.
