Vasiliki Kosta participated at the expert Seminar 'National Policy Application of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights'
Kosta compiled a conference report titled 'The Use of the Charter by EU Advisory Bodies and Agencies', commissioned by the Netherlands Presidency of the Council of the European Union in order to aid the discussions during the seminar.
The seminar aimed at working towards a common understanding of the scope of the Charter and to highlight the different experiences and tools regarding the Charter's domestic application in the legislative process.
The event was attended by 120 participants from the Member States, the EU institutions, bodies and agencies as well as academia. It was hosted by the Netherlands Presidency of the Council of the European Union on 18 - 19 February in Amsterdam.
