Since 1996, the Stieltjes Prize is annually awarded to the best mathematical thesis, defended on a Dutch university. The prize consists of an amount of 2,500 euro.
Ziyang Gao obtained his PhD diploma on 24 September 2014 in Leiden, supervised by prof. dr. S.J. Edixhoven of Leiden University and prof. dr. E.
