Relocation philosophy department

After years of being housed in the Matthias de Vrieshof 4 building alongside the Witte Singel, the Institute for Philosphy will move to the Reuvensplaats 3-4 in August.

The Reuvensplaats is the L-shaped building on the right side of the Lipsius. All rooms of the Institute for Philosophy are on the first floor, now including a lecture room, a study room and a common room.

The address of the Reuvensplaats is Reuvensplaats 2-4, 2300 RA, Leiden. The opening hours of the building are the same as the opening hours were in the Matthias de Vrieshof 4; Monday till Friday from 09.00 to 17.30. Work after 17.30 is only allowed when in possession of an ‘after hours pass’.  If you travel by bike, you can stall it in the parking garage beneath the Reuvensplaats which can be accessed by your office key. You can also park your bike near the waterside of the Reuvensplaats, where a smaller bicycle shed is present. The Reuvensplaats has two entranced, which can both be accessed via the courtyard of the Reuvensplaats.

The information on your employee page on the university website concerning your building and office number has been adjusted. Your phone number has remained unchanged.
