2011 Laura van Broekhoven participates in the Museum Leadership Institute (MLI)

The chief curator of the National Museum of Ethnology, Laura van Broekhoven, is participating in the Museum Leadership Institute at the Claremont Graduate University.

The Museum Leadership Institute

The Getty Leadership Institute at Claremont Graduate University (GLI at CGU) is convening 30 museum leaders from the United States and around the world to engage in the renowned Museum Leadership Institute (MLI), in which participants explore the increasingly complex challenges museums face. Participants were chosen for the program based on their ability to influence policy and effect change at their institutions. This year’s MLI will be held, for the first time, at Claremont Graduate University’s beautiful tree-lined campus in California, from June 18-July 8, 2011.

Laura Van Broekhoven (1972, Leuven, Belgium) is a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Archaeology of Leiden University and Curator of Middle- and Southamerica at the National Museum of Ethnology in Leiden.
