School of Democracy 2026
The basics of Democracy, Storytelling and messaging
The School of Democracy is an initiative of several Dutch political foundations aimed at engaging and empowering young people who are eager to strengthen democracy, starting in their own communities. Are you a young adult interested in politics, society, and making a difference? Do you want to become more socially engaged or explore a future in politics? Are you curious about what you stand for and how to effectively communicate your ideas? Then this training is for you. This two-part training program is designed to equip participants with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to actively participate in democratic life. Through an interactive and hands-on approach, participants will explore democratic principles, analyze societal challenges, and learn how to turn their ideas into impactful action. A central focus of this training is on the fundamentals of democratic ideologies, combined with personal storytelling and messaging, helping you define your values, shape your voice, and communicate your message clearly and convincingly.
