The Guardian on revealing old texts using X-rays

Scientists from Leiden and Delft recently discovered old texts using X-ray radiation. The subject was reported in the English newspaper The Guardian.

These are old texts that have been 'recycled' for use as binding material for newer books. Some of the texts are up to 1,300 years old. Erik Kwakel from Leiden University is one of the researchers working on the project.
