Health Humanities Network

The Health Humanities Network is an interdisciplinary network of scholars working on questions related to health and illness from perspectives within the humanities and social sciences. The network was established in 2025 with the aim of connecting researchers in this academically and socially relevant field. At Leiden University, quite some research is already conducted in the area of Health Humanities, however, scholars across different disciplines are not always aware of one another’s work. By facilitating mutual exchange and dialogue, the network seeks to further promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
