DH Pilot Projects Symposium and Digital Skills Workshops – Winter Weeks

We hold the annual Digital Humanities Pilot Project Symposium and Digital Skills Winter Workshop Week in the last week of January. It is open to all LU staff and PhD/MA students.

Digital Skills Workshops – Winter Week
Monday 29 January – Friday, 2 February 2023 (10:00 - 13:00). 
Location: Digital Lab PJ Veth 1.07 and Studio PJ Veth 1.06

A week of 3 hr workshops on AI for Education, Quarto Publishing, Podcasting, QGIS, and Text Mining. Sign up for individual workshops, or the whole series, and gain a wide understanding of the capabilities of digital research tools & methods.

  • Monday, 29 January: AI for Education Workshop (10:00 - 13:00) 
  • Tuesday, 30 January: Quarto Publishing Workshop (10:00 - 13:00) 
  • Wednesday, 31 January: i) Podcasting Workshop (10:00 - 11:20)  
    Wednesday, 31 January:  ii) Podcasting Workshop (11:40 - 13:00)  
  • Thursday, 1 Febrruary: Introduction to QGIS Workshop (10:00 - 13:00) 
  • Friday, 2 February: Counting words responsibly: Text Mining Workshop (10:00 - 13:00) 

Registration will open later in the year for the 2025 event.
