SMILE - Experimental Linguistics series

You are cordially invited to participate in the Speech and Mx in Leiden (SMILE) talk series!

The SMILE talk series is supported by the VICI project Melody in Speech. The talks are also part of the Experimental Linguistics group's activities.

At SMILE, we will explore the intricate relationship between speech, particularly speech melody, and various aspects of linguistic structure, language use, and speech processing. The talks will highlight the links between speech and Mx (i.e., melody, music, memory, modelling, and quantitative analysis methods). Typically, SMILE talks are scheduled on Fridays from 13:30 to 15:00.
