The Bachelor's Open Day gives you the opportunity to learn more about all of our bachelor's programmes and explore the student cities of Leiden and The Hague. During the Bachelor's Open Day you can:
- Attend live talk shows about the bachelor's programmes;
- Discover everything about studying in Leiden and The Hague on the various information markets;
- Have a chat and ask all your questions to students and staff members;
- Participate in guided tours of your future student city;
- Go on campus tour in your future education building.

Take a look at our programme videos to get an idea which programmes Leiden University offers and what each study programme entails. Watching the videos about your favourite study programmes beforehand will give you a head start during the Open Day.
Programme of the Open Day
During the presentations, you will get a preview of the study programme: what it entails, which subjects you’ll study and much more. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
All of the Open Day locations have an information market. Here you can talk to the teaching staff and to current students. They will answer all of the questions you may have.
The study programmes have their own stands and, of course, you can also find information here about studying at Leiden University in general, admission and enrolment, study guidance, the employment market and student life in Leiden and The Hague.
Some of the faculties have theme cafés, covering topics related to studying. Pop in and discover what Leiden University has to offer! Some theme cafés are presented in English and others are in Dutch.
If you’re not familiar with Leiden or The Hague, why not take a City Tour? These tours are guided by current students who will take you to all the hotspots and highlights in the city.
