On 9 November, from 12:30 to 17:00, lecturers and researchers from across the faculties will come together to explore opportunities for inter- and transdisciplinary education around planetary health. The meeting will take place at Circulair Paviljoen The Field in Leiden. Places are still available for colleagues interested in joining.
The exploratory meeting is part of the Kiem project ‘Exploring Planetary Health as shared challenge for enhancing inter- and transdisciplinary education’. Participants will discuss how different academic disciplines approach planetary health and how these perspectives can inform inter- and transdisciplinary learning.
Drawing on existing educational practices at Leiden University, participants will identify opportunities for coordination and further development, as well as non-academic and societal partners to involve. Together, they will lay the foundations for the agenda for the remainder of the project.
Several faculties are already represented. Other interested lecturers and researchers, including colleagues from the Faculty of Science, are warmly invited to join.
