Informal astronomy talks in a Leiden bar
Around the world, Astronomy on Tap features games, talks, and quizzes by professional astronomers and educators in the informal setting of a local bar. Astronomy on Tap Leiden is organized by professional astronomers connected to Leiden Observatory. We meet the last (or second-to-last) Monday of the month at Cultuur Cafe Leidse Lente at 8 pm . All events are in (simple!) English and free of charge. We welcome all ages and backgrounds – a passion for beer and/or astronomy is a bonus!
Logistical information
We start at 20:00 sharp, so please arrive earlier to enter the venue, save a seat, and grab a drink at the bar. We will be uploading a recording of the talks on our YouTube channel after the event.
Join us for an evening of astronomy and fun games where you can win cool science prizes! All ages and backgrounds are welcome!
