Abstract
The presentation focuses on the study of old signs of French Sign Language (LSF). I analyse their origin, their contexts of use and their evolution over time. This research, carried out mainly digitally, makes it possible to compare old and modern signs, to identify those that have remained unchanged, those that have disappeared and those that have evolved. Finally, I contribute to the constitution of a collection of ancient signs intended to preserve this linguistic heritage and to better understand the history of LSF.
