Doing Ethics: Addressing Real-World Challenges in Language Research

This hybrid roundtable with presentations and discussion will explore the micro-ethical challenges language researchers face during fieldwork, data collection, and publication of their research results. The event will focus on practical, real-world ethical dilemmas, providing seasoned researchers a platform to share how they have navigated such issues and raise ethical issues researchers will have to grapple with in the future.
Participation & registration
A pre-event Qualtrics survey will poll PhD and ResMA students' main areas of concern to ensure that the discussion addresses the specific issues they are confronted with and anticipate encountering in their research.
Please note that the amount of in-person places is limited.
