Both parts of the course can be done independently, but it is highly recommended to follow both of them.
The second part is limited to 20 participants and registration will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration is open unitl June 6th.

This second part will count as 4 hours of transferable skills for the graduate school.

In the remaining time, you can have manuscript consultations with the editors. Each consult will be 20 min. To facilitate the consultations, you need to hand in the writing that you want to discuss. This Word document must have at least a title and an abstract. Manuscript drafts that have additional components don't have to be complete (e.g., part of the intro, some results/discussion, some references). For the abstract, you can also put in tentative/ideal results, if these are not available yet. The documents must be sent to s.m.hacker@lic.leidenuniv.nl before June 6th.
