Application

Who can apply?

Physics students in the last years of their bachelor's programme can apply. This summer school is specifically intended for students who are considering applying to the Master of Physics programme at Leiden University.

How to apply?

Apply by filling out the submission form and submitting the following documents:

A letter of recommendation from a member of staff at your current institute. This person should be able to comment on your academic performance, and your potential to carry out scientific research.
A letter of motivation outlining your interest in the Summer School, and why you would consider Leiden for your future Master of Physics studies (maximum one page). If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please explain why you should be considered. Don't forget to mention if you currently study at an Una Europa university for a discounted admission fee.
A transcript of your grades from the undergraduate courses you have completed.
A Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages).
Proficiency in English is a requirement for participation.

Important dates

Application deadline: 22 March 2024.
You will be notified about our admission decision by the end of April 2024.

The maximum number of participants is 30.
