Summer School: Alternative Payment Models
Healthcare systems are at a turning point. Changing demand, workforce shortages, and growing financial constraints are forcing policymakers and healthcare leaders to rethink how care is organized and paid for. Payment models play a crucial role in shaping incentives, collaboration, and long-term sustainability. This five-day Summer School on Alternative Payment Models (APMs) offers a unique opportunity to explore how innovative payment strategies can better align financial incentives with the goals of high-quality, accessible and affordable care. Together with leading experts and peers, participants will gain practical insights into the design and evaluation of payment reforms that support the transition towards future-proof healthcare systems.
Join the Summer School for Alternative Payment Models (APMs) to get an introduction to designing and applying APMs that support the transition to value-based healthcare. Through real-world cases, practical examples, and interactive working methods you will learn how financial incentives can be used to improve collaboration and quality of care. The keynote speakers are experts in their field.
This year the APM Summer School is planned from 29 June to 3 July 2026.
