Programme structure
The specialisation Educational Science studies the learning processes of children and adolescents from a cognitive-psychological and neuro-scientific perspective. The courses are designed to allow for intensive and personal contact with the instructor and with the other students.
The programme consists of five substantive courses, devoted to the following subjects:

- The development of reading and math skills
- Evidence-based interventions
- Professional development of teachers
In addition, you are trained in research methods and statistics.
Internship
An important part of the master specialisation Educational Science is the internship. You learn to apply your scientific knowledge and academic skills in a realistic working environment and to operate independently and responsibly in an organization. During your internship you develop your skills in practice or in scientific research.
Master Project
You conclude your specialisation Educational Science with a Master Project. You have the option to choose from several research themes within the Educational Science department, thus allowing you to obtain research skills and at the same time gain expertise in one of these themes. You write an individual thesis about this research and also give a presentation about it.
