Het Lorentz Center organises public lectures by internationally renowned scientists.

Every year, more than 3,000 scientists visit the Lorentz Center to collaborate on solutions to scientific and societal challenges. The Lorentz Center regularly invites workshop participants to give lectures, offering the public a glimpse into the world of the scientists who come together at the Lorentz Center.

University and museums

The location of the event depends on the subject of the lecture. The lectures are held not only at the Lorentz Center and Leiden University, but also at museums in Leiden, such as Rijksmuseum Boerhaave and the National Museum of Antiquities (Rijksmuseum van Oudheden).
