Career and apply for jobs

Career Prep

On Thursday 2 March, we will host Career Prep, that will take place from 15:00 until 17:00 hrs in the Wijnhaven building. It's next to the Spanish steps and the cafe. There will be a stylist present, so make sure you either wear or bring your neat interview outfit, or bring a picture. In that way you can get personal styling to be 'prepped' for your next job interview!

Method
Career Prep

A professional photographer will be present to take your picture, you'll get advice on your CV and together we can discuss your future plans and help you get there. Get confident for your next job interview!

Registration is not necessary, just drop by Wijnhaven and take the first steps towards planning your dream career!

Dress to impress

You only get one chance to make a good impression, which is partly about preparation but the whole picture is important. The first five minutes of your interview will determine the tone; it is about what you say, how you say it and how you present yourself. In which clothing plays a role: a chance you, as a young professional, can take advantage off.

It's important to feel comfortable in what you wear, and that you radiate confidence. If a piece of clothing doesn’t fit well, is to short or itches, you might get distracted during your interview. You will feel tensed and nervous, and they will notice that too. That would be a wasted chance… Maybe you are in doubt: is this the right thing to wear? You can express authenticity, that’s completely acceptable, but when is it ‘too much’? And does the outfit you had in mind fit into the company’s standards? Talk about it during the Careerprep event and get tailored advice for your next job interview.

What would you wear to your next job interview? Bring that outfit, wear it or take a picture and drop by at Careerprep. We’d love to help you get ready, in which case you will confidently show up in a professional way; go for that right look and be the 'perfect fit' during your job interview.
