Yee Man is a PhD candidate at the Translational Data Science & AI Lab (TDS Lab) that tackles both practical problems in healthcare practices and fundamental challenges in data science & AI.
Her project, titled “MULAMAQ: Multimodal Language Markers for Perceived Quality-of-Life Assessment”, focuses on automatically assessing patients’ perceived quality-of-life through the monitoring of their mental wellbeing based on the detection of language markers (linguistic characteristics) in natural language utterances from speech, text, and video. Her supervisors are dr. Bram van Dijk, prof.dr.ir. Gerard van Oortmerssen, and prof. dr. Marco Spruit.
