Vivien Rorsch has been connected to the Company Law Department, Institute for Private Law as a lecturer Intellectual Property Law since 1 march 2018. She is also a supreme court lawyer at the law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Amsterdam.
Vivien Rorsch has been connected to the Company Law Department, Institute for Private Law as a lecturer Intellectual Property Law since 1 march 2018. She works as a supreme court lawyer at the law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Amsterdam since 2003.
Rorsch (1978) studied Dutch law at Utrecht University. During her studies she worked as a student assistant at the Center for Intellectual Property Law (CIER), as a paralegal at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and was a member of the editoral board of the journal Ars Aequi. In 2003 she participated in an exchange program at East China University of Politics and Law Shanghai and in a program of Sydney University program.
Rorsch is appointed as a part-time lecturer in privatissimum IE in 2018. Since 2009, Rorsch has been providing annual guest education within the course of Copyright (Leiden University), and regularly provides post academic education (PAO).
Rorsch is a member of the editorial board of the journals IER and AMI. Rorsch is also chairman of The FIPE, the foundation for female intellectual property experts.
