Tusharr Madhavv is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and arts educator. His practice spans film, installation, performance, text, and artist publishing, working across experimental and documentary forms. He is the recipient of several awards, including the 64th National Film Award of India for his debut documentary, as well as international grants supporting his projects. His work engages with memory, desire, and lived histories that persist beyond institutional frameworks and archives. His PhD Arts research examines the historiographical and ethical challenges of representing another artist through film, with a particular focus on the image, art, and suicide of the Indian artist Jangarh Singh Shyam.
