Short bio
Simon Toussaint obtained his PhD at Utrecht University. His research interests lie at the intersection of macroeconomics, public finance and financial economics. In his research, he analyses the upper tail of the wealth distribution, in the Netherlands and worldwide. To do so, he uses a diverse toolkit (from historical analysis to structural econometrics) and analyses the series constructed by him through the lens of macroeconomic models.
