Rick van Well is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Political Science.
Rick van Well is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Political Science. His research focuses on explanations of government-opposition relations in parliament and is part of the broader research project ‘Who Opposes?’ (Principal investigator: Dr. Tom Louwerse). As one of the Faces of Science from the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) he regularly writes (in Dutch) about his work as a PhD candidate at the university.
Previously Van Well was a lecturer in political science at Leiden University and a researcher at ProDemos – House for Democracy and the Rule of Law. He completed a Bachelor in Political Science (2016) and a Research Master in Political Science and Public Administration (2018) at Leiden University.
