Pawan Kumar Sen is a Consultant Researcher with Interdisciplinary Analysts (IDA) – a Kathmandu based private research organisation. He has an extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale quantitative household/citizen surveys, and public opinion polls since 1998. He conducted a public opinion series called “Nepal Contemporary Political Situation” between 2004 and 2012 - a period of momentous historical transition in Nepal. He is interested in examining contemporary political issues and state restructuring issues of Nepal such as republicanism, federalism, secularism, and multilingualism.
He has just finished working on his Ph.D. project titled “Opinions of the Political Elites and the General Public: Exploring the Determinants of Political Change in Nepal in Times of Transition”.
