Nika Kratsashvili is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Political Science.
Nika Kratsashvili is a PhD Candidate at Leiden University’s Institute of Political Science researching the EU enlargement in an era of great power competition.
The position is part of the ‘Contested EU Foreign Policy in an Era of Geopolitics (EUFOG)’ project, funded by the European Commission and led in The Hague by Dr. Karolina Pomorska.
Nika holds a BA in International Relations (2021) and an MA in European Studies (2023) from Tbilisi State University in Georgia. He also earned an MA degree in Policies and Governance in Europe (PAGE) from the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, Italy (2025).
Nika’s interests range from diplomacy to EU enlargement, the Eastern Partnership and Euro-Atlantic security.
