Lieke Beekers is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Leiden University.
Before joining Leiden University, Lieke was a Ph.D. student at the department of Econometrics and Operations Research at Tilburg University. Lieke is interested in studying inequality in economic opportunity, education economics, health economics, and applied microeconomics. Her research seeks to evaluate policy interventions and economic policy. To do so, she makes use of administrative data, survey data, and frontier econometric methods.
