L.M. (Laurens) de Hoog is a PhD fellow at the department of Notarial law. He graduated from Leiden University in 2012 with an LLM in Notarial law. Laurens’ PhD research under the supervision of professor Huijgen concentrates on the first in time rule ( prior tempore potior iure). Laurens teaches various courses at the Leiden Law School in both the LLB and LLM programme in Notarial law, including matrimonial property law and family law.
