Laura van Kessel
Laura van Kessel is connected to the Institute for Private Law as a lecturer since 1st March 2018.
Laura van Kessel graduated in Dutch law at Tilburg University. She then worked as a lawyer at Pels Rijcken & Droogleever Fortuijn in The Hague. As a member of the cassation and criminal (procedural) law sections she has gained experience in the field of civil procedural law and extensively in the field of private law. From 1st January 2012 she worked as a PhD candidate and subsequently as a lecturer at the Molengraaff Institute for Private Law (Utrecht University). Since 1st March 2018 she is employed as a lecturer at the Institute for Private Law. Her scientific interests include civil procedural law, liability law and the impact of human rights in these subject matters.
