Research

Within the framework of selection history, Junjie is particularly interested in the role of threat (or punishment) history on the following attention selection. He wants to explore the underlying mechanisms of this role and how can we eliminate or mitigate the negative effect of threat on visual search when it acts as an irrelevant distractor. To conduct his research, he uses eye-tracking and EEG (electroencephalography) techniques.

Short CV

Junjie obtained his master’s degree in Key Laboratory of Modern Teaching Technology, Ministry of Education at Shaanxi Normal University in 2024. Currently, he works as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Manon Mulckhuyse at the Cognitive Psychology unit.
