Hans Oversloot (1957) is a lecturer of Political Science at Leiden University. He gives lectures in the field of political theories and their history. From 1997-2008 he worked half of his time at the department of Russian Studies. At the moment he works full time for the Institute of Political science.

Oversloot studied History and Political Science at Leiden University. Title of his dissertation: Sabbatswerkers in de Sovjetunie (Leiden, 1990).
