ACPA lecturer Hafez Ismaili m’Hamdi studied jazz guitar at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and philosophy at Leiden University and Universiteit Utrecht.

Currently he is doing his PhD research at Erasmus MC on medical ethics and philosophy.

For the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts Hafez Ismaili m’Hamdi teaches the course  What is music? The role of music in society through history, ‘From Plato to Pussy Riot’, the Honours class Music and Society, and the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Music and Society.
