Research
My research focuses on Japanese contemporary literature, particularly ecocriticism and ecofictions in Japan. My work examines how contemporary Japanese literary fictions respond to the global challenges of the Anthropocene by deconstructing the often hidden anthropocentrism present in many traditional literary themes.
