Emma Burgers is a staff member at the LeidenAsiaCentre and works as an assistant researcher on the ‘China’s Role in Cyber Security’ project. She also worked on the project 'Dealing with Decoupling from China: Business Strategies in a Changing World', and on ‘How Asia Confronts COVID-19 through Technology’, for which she wrote a chapter on China’s application of digital technologies during the early stages of the corona pandemic.
