Research
My PhD research is part of the NWO-funded project 'Pardon my French? Dutch-French Language Contact in The Netherlands, 1500-1900'. In my sub project, called 'French into Dutch: A corpus-based study of contact-induced change, 1500-1900', I examine changes in Dutch under the influence of French on the lexical, morphological and syntactic level using a diachronic multigenre corpus.
