Agnes van Rossum worked in academia for many years as a technician, PhD candidate and post-doc. In 2010, she decided to leave academia and, after studying clinical and health psychology at Utrecht University, started her own practice as a psychologist and walk-and-talk coach. As a psychologist for PhD candidates, she brings her two worlds together. 

Van Rossum offers support for all PhD candidates at Leiden University who are experiencing mental health challenges that are caused by or are directly affecting their PhD process. Her deep awareness of the unique pressures faced by PhD candidates allows her to provide support that meets their specific needs.
